Be More Authentic by Sounding Look Like You are Not Reading It

In this video Janeen explains the art of doing a video or presenting to sound more authentic.

People are making videos, and I think one of the things that I find the most inauthentic is really knowing that they’re reading something.

I certainly have created a ton of videos where hi I have read a script. But the difference between doing that and not reading it well is incredibly important or not sounding like you’re reading but sounding like you are speaking instead. And it takes a real skill to be able to do that.

They do that by the changes in the pitch of your voice, the pace of your voice, using pause effectively, the tone of your voice and the men how you’re delivering that message. So, think about that.

Or does it sound like you are speaking it?
