Know Your Outcome is a Key Advisors Marketing and Sales Quickie Tip by Janeen Vosper from Speech Perfect.

Know Your Outcome

When you’re putting a presentation together, I think one of the most important factor is to know what outcome you want to achieve.

Do you want to entertain?

Do you want to inform?

Do you want to inspire people to do something differently?

Maybe it is to plant their own vegetable garden, or do you want to motivate or persuade people to do something? And if you’re in business, often that persuasion is for them to invest in you.

So being able to know what your outcome is, this is where I start working with clients to put their presentations together.

This is the most important factor that we start with, first.

Many people start with the content, and it’s not anywhere near as important. If you don’t know what the purpose of your presentation is.

Most important factor when you’re putting a presentation together is to know what outcome you want to achieve. Before you start putting the content together.

I’m Janeen Vosper from Speech Perfect. I work with clients from all different types of industries to put presentations together, whether it’s one from the stage or one to deliver in front of a webinar.
Your focus should be on what outcome do you want to achieve? And how are you going to go about achieving it?
Because it does take a formula and a set of steps to be able to do that.
